Durite was born in 1921. At the beginning it was producing coloured mineral plasters, lime paints and concrete blocks for industrial flooring.
Production has evolved over the years. From the mid-sixties with the arrival of new leaders, the company has conducted particular research on plasters and lime finishes of the oldest tradition.
Materials and intervention techniques for historical buildings renovations have perfected.
In the early nineties lime finishes have began to spread, in spite of some distrust, also in the new quality building, being careful with aesthetic and environmental characteristics of traditional materials. The company has continued to develop materials with mineral binders.
In 1996
was realised in a construction site the first continuous decorative coating for floor based on lime and cement.
The company has a long experience and boasts today a high quality standard gained through years of research in laboratory and construction site practice.
